Fable
Fable entered NNR's care in late 2025. She tested heartworm positive and required treatment and other extensive vetting care to get her healthy enough for adoption. Today, she is living an amazing life with her adoptive family, including a Pyr and Newf sibling who adore her.♥️
Hardy
Hardy, a 5-year- old affectionate Newfoundland entered our rescue in April of 2024. His adoptive family feels like he rescued them with his devotion and love. They reciprocate it right back to this sweet boy. Car rides? Yes, please.....
Stevie Nicks
Stevie, a 2-year-old landseer, arrived at NNR in June of 2025. This affectionate and active pup won over her forever family with her adoring smile and adventurous spirit. She acts as the "wellness coach" for the family ensuring walks, hikes, and short runs are on the family agenda.
Brisket
Brisket, a newf who ALWAYS has a smile and spreads joy wherever he goes met his forever family in May 2025. His presence continues to radiate joy to his family and everyone he meets.

Luigi
Luigi was surrendered in January 2025. He celebrated his 11th birthday at his foster's home, right before he was adopted in March. Luigi immediately brought a smile and spark into his adoptive mom's life with his loving and magnetic personality.
Bruce
Bruce was surrendered in early November 2024, at 3.5yrs old. Major life changes necessitated his owner making the hard decision to find him a new home. He arrived well-mannered, a little drooly, and full of love at his foster home. Adoption applications poured in for this sweet boy. He found his perfect forever home November 30, 2024, where he became the center of attention for two young humans. He greets his family every day with a “present,” usually a drool towel, a toy, or a shoe. He’s a world-class snuggler, melts for ear scratches, and flops over for belly rubs from anyone willing to give them. His forever family firmly states he made their house feel like a true home through his presence.
Layla
Layla arrived at NNR in August 2024. She was 4.5yrs old and was used for breeding before being surrendered. She was on the larger side of a female newf and needed immediate work on leash/harness skills, as these were new to her. She was introduced to toys and determined that the louder, the better! She met her forever family in September 2024 and gained two newf brothers. She loves playing in the pool, going for walks, doing zoomies, wrestling with her newf “bros” and just being loved.
Lily
Lily came to NNR in April 2024. She was 4.5 yrs old and arrived at her foster home anxious and scared. Her foster mom immediately created a safe space and routine to ease her anxiety. She was also enrolled in a basic training class to learn socialization skills, gain trust, and learn basic commands. All this support and mentorship from her foster newf brother allowed Lily to blossom and become a happy and healthy dog. Today, she is a “foster fail” and enjoys spending time with her forever mom, her newf bro (a 2023 NNR alum himself), and now mentoring new NNR fosters. She and her “goofy” bro LOVE the water and spend as much time as they can in it!
Jane
Jane entered NNR rescue in April 2024, just shy of her 7th birthday. Her world was turned upside down when her human dad passed away unexpectedly. Her foster family immediately engaged her and brought back her spark. She LOVES being around people and taking car rides.
Jane found her forever home in June 2024. She immediately took to being an avid human greeter when out with her new family. So much so, they saw her gentle spirit would uplift others at an assisted living home where she visited her human grandparents. Her weekly visits to the home bring joy to all the residents, including her new family. Jane goes “everywhere” with her new family and is living her best senior years.
Shadow
Shadow (formerly Iggy) aka The Boy Who Broke The Internet at just under 1 million views on his social media post is officially adopted! Another ‘Foster Fail’ to add to the books. It was love at first sight for this lucky family, they drove halfway across the country to bring him home. Click here to learn more about his story.

Timber
Timber is officially adopted!!! His foster family decided that they just couldn’t let this sweet boy go, and the smiles all around speak to how perfect this match is!

Sampson
Sampson is officially adopted!!! He gets to live his his best life with two newfie siblings, and two kids of his own to look after! What could possibly be better!

Ozzy has an amazing furever home!!!
He has 2 beautiful Newfie siblings and a mom and dad that just love him to pieces! I know his new dad has already posted updates on our Facebook group, so I have no doubt that we will continue to see Ozzy’s squirrel hunting adventures.
