Our wonderful NNR volunteers created some activity books designed for families with giant breed dogs or new dogs in their household. All profits from these activity books benefit National Newfoundland Rescue. Enjoy!

Newfie Pals

The goal of this activity book is for parents to sit with their children while they complete the activities. Each activity teaches a certain expectation when interacting with a large breed dog. Rescuing a pet teaches children very important skills around giving back, being patient, and learning responsibility.

Memories of My Dog and Me

Whether your new pet is a full-grown adopted dog or a squirmy puppy, very quickly they become vital members of our families. They greet us with enthusiasm when we come home, go on adventures with us, and enjoy chilling on the couch when we binge watch a show.

Baby memory books let us remember all the fun, exciting firsts of our human children. This book is designed to do the exact same thing for your furry children.

It has space to write down the stories of the times you spend together. It also has space to record important information like shot records, tests, allergies and veterinarian information.

This book also has plenty of space for pictures. Most of the spaces will hold standard 5x7 or 4x6 prints, but some of them will require you to cut them into a shape, like hearts, circles or other shapes to fit in the frames.

It also has information to help you and your new family member adjust to all kinds of new situations – coming home, preparing for a new dog or puppy, and ensuring different holidays are happy experiences for you and your furry family member.
